| Training

All Personnel to Access the Decklite Working Platform have completed successfully one of the below Courses. The Training is conducted at the Decklite Agent / Licensee’s Facility. All Qualified Decklite Personnel are known as ‘Deckliters’.

DECKLITE WORKING PLATFORM (DWP) COURSES:

Course 1 - WHITE CARD Decklite Familiarization & Safety Induction

A two hour Safety Induction and familiarization to access the DWP to carry out work without a Rope Access Certificate. All candidates must hold a current Working at Height Certificate (WAH).

Attendees / Candidates:

Contractor and/or Client Personnel with a Working at Height Certificate who require access to the Decklite to carry out work; Painters, High Pressure Blasters, Electrical Contractors, E&I Technicians, Welders,, Scaffolders and all other Trades. Client Management Team; Operations, Technical, Lead Services, Superintendents, Rigging Supervisors, Medics and Rescue, and all other personnel who require access to the Decklite Working Platform.

Onsite Decklite Familiarization & Safety Induction

An on-site Induction for visitors who require access to the DWP such as inspectors and management. The Induction shall be conducted by a Decklite Supervisor (Course 3 Certified) and carried out at the job site. The personnel shall be supervised at all times whilst accessing the DWP by the Decklite Supervisor.

Inspectors, management, visitors.

Course 2 - GREEN CARD TNT Team – Multi Skilled Access

A Practical and Theory Course to assist in the DWP processes to install, maintain, and dismantle using Rope Access Methods & to carry out multi skills of trade.

Attendees / Candidates:

Personnel who hold a current Level 1 or 2 IRATA Rope Access Certificate; Painters, High Pressure Blasters, Electrical Contractors, E&I Technicians, Welders,, Scaffolders, Inspectors and all other Trades.

Course 3 - BLUE CARD Decklite Supervisor / Qualified Decklite Level 3 Technician

An extensive Practical and Theory Course to provide a thorough knowledge of the DWP; HSE Guidelines, Checklists, Installation, Maintain, Dismantle whilst using ropes. Supervisor of all personnel.

Attendees / Candidates: 

Personnel who hold a current Level 3 IRATA Rope Access Certificate. First Aid Certified.
Decklite Agent / Licensee Personnel Only.

4-5 Days



DECKROOM HOTWORK ENCLOSURE (DHE) COURSES:
