Safety is assured by implementation of HSE Guidelines and Checklists which are strictly adhered to when using the Decklite Working Platform . Daily inspections and checklists are used to ensure the Decklite is fit for purpose prior to commencement of works.

An entire Decklite Kit is deployed in an approved Shipping Container (Decklite Toolbox) which reduces water resources and facility impact. Walkways and areas have minimal impact when Decklite is in the installation or dismantling process due to the lightweight modular components being trolleyed to the work zone.  A typical installation requires no more than a 1m square area of grate removal for below cellar deck work.

Decklite reduces risk exposure as it requires less personnel to install and dismantle.  Methods can be carried out at least 50% quicker than other conventional methods.  Safe Access directly to the work zone is obtained with no build up or down and modular configurations provide safety around facility penetrations such as columns and bracing. All Decklite configurations have secondary support and numerous backup systems to provide a safe working environment for workers to carry out scopes when working at height. All Steelwork components are made from high grade stainless steel to eliminate any risk association with the use of aluminium alloys and spark implications in hydrocarbon facilities.

Due to the characteristics of Decklite, the system provides personnel with a fully enclosed, soft fall, secure and safe work area.
