Decklite is a structurally engineered safe access solution designed to meet industries growing need for cost-effective, efficient and safe access when performing Inspection, Repair or Maintenance work at height. The system specializes in difficult or hard to reach areas. Decklite is a multi-penetration and modular system which can be moved quickly and efficiently to increase productivity.
Decklite can be installed in a number of versatile configurations and due to the characteristics, the system provides personnel with a fully enclosed, soft fall, secure and safe work area. Decklite is certified to maximum live loads of up to 250 kg every square meter. Safe Working Loads are determined by way of Carbon Fibre Strut Placement. When Fit for Purpose, manual handling, risk and job safety requirements are reduced due to square meter maximum weight of 15kg.
All components have been tested to destruction by NATA Accredited Laboratories and hold structural certification within Loading & Structural use Standards AS1170 & BS5950. The entire system holds Design Certification by Germanischer Lloyd and has approved HSE Guidelines.
In High Seas or Extreme Weather conditions Decklite provides low impact as it can be safely secured into cyclone mode or removed rapidly.
The Decklite Working Platform is also suitable for Bridges, Civil & Rail when transport is in motion due to its ability to withstand high wind and vibration loads with the added advantage of extreme weather and wave piercing characteristics.
The system is installed and inspected daily by Decklite Certified Supervisors using Rope Access Methods (Level 3 IRATA). When the Decklite has been signed off Fit for Purpose it becomes part of the facility and can be accessed freely by non-rope access personnel to carry out Trade Work.
